Grant Cardillo Lead Guitar
After being in and out of bands around his local New York scene, Grant finally found his groove when he and lead vocalist David Blanchard started Likewise. "We just wanted to get together and create some really good original music. I listened to a lot of Metallica and Pearl Jam, while David listened to a lot of DMB and Dispatch, so when we jammed together we came up with some really cool tunes. I didn't really take our music seriously at first, but after we played a couple of shows we were getting some really good feedback from the audience and club owners." When asked what his favorite song to play live is, he responded, " 'Lament' is always a crowd-pleaser... everyone loves it, so of course it's fun to play." His personal favorite is 'Going Nowhere' because it has a groovin' beat, a sick solo, and it really just gets him pumped up every time they play it.
